About

Rediscovering my inspiration.

Lisa Woods

My name is Lisa and sometimes I write. I was born and raised in Oklahoma, but now live in Iowa with my seven children, a pit bull, a blue quaker, and a neurotic hedgehog.

I wrote my first horror story as a Halloween assignment when I was ten years old. It was a brilliant eight-page tome that got me a trip to the guidance counselor and a call home from the principal. I guess people just don’t appreciate melting faces and heads rolling down staircases in a public school environment.

My first published short story “Die With Your Boots On” is included in the zombie anthology Fifty Shades of Decay and is available at Amazon and Smashwords. I am currently working on my first novel about a vampire hell bent on revenge.
